Today, Darshan & Aniket (a.k.a Bhagwan) contributed to our kitchen Garden

Darshan (a.k.a) Daaku has planted Cabbage seeds & Bhagwan has planted Radish seeds.

Also, the seeds received by me from Times Of India (Tomato) were sowed.

Tulsi (Basil) was the latest addition to the growing list of plants...

Daaku & Bhagwan thought of sowing TOMATO seeds and we pledged to take the first fruit to the TOMATINA festival in SPAIN in couple of years time... Hope people gets to fly with AADHAR card, rather than a Passport ... hahah

Visit to VJTI Plants Exhibition

We visited VJTI plants exhibition to hunt for some more plants. We ended up buying 15 Kg Soil for our plants and 4 Cute flower plants. I need to research on their names.. For time being its visual has been put for the audience to see..

                             

  

 

Something for the Cuisine

16-Feb-2013 - After early leaving from the office, me and bells rushed to our nearest nursery to get some soil for the Christmas & Lemon tree.

At the nursery we saw Curry Patta Plant & Ajwain (known as Carom seeds) and we thought of getting it for our place....At least something, we can start readily using for our food... to get some Taste ;) (pun intended)..

Ajwain is a herb which is good for health. We use it in our soups when  we catch Cold / Viral Flu ...Hmmmm

Its a dual tone flower which is ornated across offices and big commercial establishments gardens..

Sowed in Coco Peat

I sowed the seed on 11 Feb 2013, waiting for the flower to bloom. The end result must look like the array of flowers shown below.. Waiting for the seeds to germinate.. I sowed the seed in a container containing Coco Peat..

Again, the wait continues....

New Stand for plants

We bought a new designer Stand for our plants from Plants Exhibition at Byculla (Extremely stylish ..) Its so sleek and we placed most of our creepers on it, so that the plants gets the required support for growth.

Also, we bought Christmas Tree and seedless lemon plant (imported as what they say ... God knows..) from the exhibition.

The Christmas tree is 4 feet tall and our target is to make it till 6 Feet till the coming December 2013, so that we can decorate it with lights... Till then FINGERS crossed....

Visit to Plants exhibition at Byculla

When i visited my in-laws place on 10 Feb 2013, I was delighted to hear that at nearby place Plants exhibition was held. So, we drove away Bells Nano to Byculla to see the natures different creations....
